Resolving Maven configuration error in NetBeans 6.1

Once we have a project setup in NetBeans 6.1 with Maven, we may face the following error.

clean: Execute failed: java.io.IOException: Cannot run program "${mvn.path}" (in directory "c:\abcd\xxx"): CreateProcess error=2, The system cannot find the file specified BUILD FAILED (total time: 0 seconds)

Solution:
From NetBeans 6.1 menu, click Tools-> Options and then select Miscellaneous->Ant. Under properties enter the path to mvn.bat as in the screenshot below.
